Fallow Class

Fallow class have had a very exciting week with an early start and a train ride to Exeter on Wednesday. We then went to Pizza Express, organized and booked by Rachel Hayes, and the children made their own pizzas. Everybody had a fabulous time! The children learnt some information about some of the ingredients used to make pizzas and since returning to school we have thought about the different food groups. After making and eating our own pizzas we then went to have a look around RAMM and found lots of stone, bronze and iron age artifacts, which is currently our topic. However, the children were most fascinated by the huge stuffed animals, especially the tiger and polar bear! Following our visit to RAMM we walked back to Exeter central train station and had our tickets checked by the railway staff – luckily nobody had lost their ticket! We then got onto a train and changed at Exeter St David’s before we started the last leg of our journey back to Tiverton Parkway. The children were tired after a fabulous day!

Little Angels

Prehistoric reptiles known as Dinosaurs have been our focus this week! The children have been exploring the Big Bang theory, sorting animals into habitats, learning about time lines and discovering new words such as Jurassic, extinction and fossils. It really is one of their favourite topics to discover and learn about! A fantastic week was had by all!
