Themed story and craft open morning

Rackenford Primary School open morning

Prospective pupils and their parents or carers can take part in special story time and craft activities at our open morning, taking place on Wednesday 15 November.

The event will be themed around the book ‘The Owl That Was Afraid of the Dark’, listening to the story and creating their own arts and crafts owls. They will tour the school and speak with current reception pupils.

Jo Drake, Head of School at Rackenford Primary, said: “We like to give prospective parents, carers and children a true idea of what our school will be like when they join us. The story time and crafting activities are ones that our current reception pupils do and we hope children who visit us during open morning will enjoy being involved.

“It is also important for parents and carers to see the school in action and the facilities on offer, so we ensure that everyone gets a tour of the school and a chance to speak to current pupils about their own experiences. We look forward to meeting everyone on the day.”

Our open morning will take place between 9:30am and 10:30am. Anyone interested in attending should call the school on 01884 881 354 or contact admin@rackenford-primary.devon.sch.uk.
