Fallow Class
Fallow class visited Tiverton Museum this week to find out about life in the Stone Age. We had a great time exploring the museum and following the Stone Age Trail. We were able to use their dressing up clothes and weave and see many exciting Stone age artefacts. We then came back to school and made some Stone Age tools and weapons in the afternoon using the information that we had gathered from Tiverton Museum. Later in the week the children learnt how Stone Age people transported rocks from Wales to Wiltshire in order to make Stonehenge. They then learnt why the stones were put in the order that they are and the children created their own biscuit Stonehenge to match with some great results! A great week in Fallow class!

Little Angels
This has been our safeguarding week, exploring My Underpants Rule! By Kate & Rod Power. Its been a week of exploring how we keep ourselves safe with the children doing their own risk assessments, exploring tools, road safety, understanding suitable clothing and developing emotional language.

Thank You
As you are aware this week we had an Inspection by Ofsted. This was a one-day ungraded inspection based on our Good judgement from September 2018.
|
Thank you to all those parents who sent in warm wishes for the staff during this process and for those who completed the one line survey.
|
The outcome of the inspection is confidential at this stage, but we felt that it went well and the inspectors spoke incredibly highly of our children. We will share the report with you as soon as we are allowed to do so.
