Road Safety

Rackenford is a small village that gets busy at drop off and pick up time. Can we please ask that parents ensure their children act sensibly when walking to and from cars. Can we also pay attention to where we park, if you are running late please can we not park over the school entrance or outside Little Angels. There are still children coming and going and it makes it difficult for children to cross safely.
Thankyou for your understanding.

Christmas Nativity

All children should have brought home information about their nativity costume this week. Please take a look in bags to make sure you have received it. For our Nativity we require lots of cardboard and toilet rolls for making parts of costumes/sets in school. If you have any large bits of cardboard to donate we would be very grateful. We are hoping to start making our costumes/sets on 22nd November. More information about this years Nativity will be out soon.

Little Angels

This week the children have been focused on the book The History of Britain by Rob Loyd Jones and Barry Ablett. On Monday the children have taken a minute of silence to remember all the people who gave their lives for our country, and they have been exploring poppy activities, which represents the strongest flower that grew on the battlefields, providing hope for many. They have been celebrating the middle ages, looking at Early Britain, and exploring tudor times and made some wonderful Victoria sponge! What a wonderful learning week was had by all.

Congratulations
