The Annual Summer Reading Challenge for children in Primary Schools launches in Devon on Saturday 6th July and runs until Saturday 14th September. This year it is called Marvellous Makers, and we would like your help to make this the most marvellous Summer ever for reading at Tiverton Library. As always we are challenging children to read 6 library books, and as they read we will give them stickers and other incentives, with a medal and prize draw entry when they finish.
|
To promote the reading challenge we had a school assembly this week, Once again Bridge Troll Hobbies have kindly offered a £50 winners prize and may be able to bring Pikachu along to liven up our presentation!

Little Angels
This week the children have all been learning about transitions based on the story Topsy and Tim start school by Jean and Gareth Adamson. They have been looking at changes that happen from House moves, to a new baby joining the family as well as exploring the changes happening in Sept as the older children prepare for school! We have looked at emotions and feelings and language to express ourselves. What an exciting week it has been
