Sika Class
Sika class really enjoyed their trip to Tiverton Museum on Tuesday. We went to enhance our learning for our topic this term: sow, grow and farm. This term we are learning about farming practices both within the UK and abroad. This project teaches children about the features and characteristics of land use in agricultural regions across the world, including a detailed exploration of significant environmental areas.
|
In science we are learning about life cycles, including the human life cycle. They will explore human growth and development to old age.
|
The museum enabled us to see the history of farming in Mid Devon. We took part in a workshop on rationing and shopping in WW2 and we were able to look around the museum focusing on agriculture and food.

Little Angels
This week the children have been learning about space, using the story Little Bunny goes to the moon by Amelia Gatacre. The children have made moon rice cakes, star paintings, had a rocket tent party and loved moon walking and discovering about gravity.
